Jake's Place Apartments

While the apartment itself is nice, the pipes have continuously backed up human waste water (full of feces and used toilet paper) into our shower and multiple times. The office only drains the drains and never sanitizes or cleans up afterwards. So if you like the idea of having to possibly live with shit water backing into apartment and no one properly cleaning it, then by all means this place is perfect.

My daughter lived at Jake’s Place her Senior year at FSU. Love the location as it’s an easy walk to campus. Beautifully renovated private apartments. Residents are very quiet and typically grad students. Perfect for the serious student who doesn’t want the party scene at their complex. Highly recommend Jake’s Place.

Maintenance (and the staff) is very good at responding to maintenance requests. The staff is friendly- especially the manager Ashton (she's amazing!). Jake's Place has been very diligent at resolving any issues I have run into and I have resigned for next year. It is very convenient being so close to campus, so it makes it easier for someone like me to manage school and working almost full time. The one-one is quite spacious- I still have plenty of room in the bedroom with a king size bed in there. Highly recommend!

The apartments are very well insulated so there isn’t a lot of noise that comes through. They are a nice size with a lot of closet space. The maintenance people work fast and all of the staff is really nice. I like that I don’t have to go through a front desk area or anything to get to my apartment. The apartments are a bit expensive but most of them are close to the school.

I lived here for a year and loved it! It was the perfect location for school and was great for getting my peace and quiet that I needed. What drew me to the property was the way it looks on the outside, but the inside is massive! I never had any major issues, but when I had small issues maintenance was quick to get them fixed for me. Management was great and always responded quickly. I would definitely recommend living here!
