Jackson Hill

I have lived at Jackson Hill for just over three years now and have truly had a great experience. Location wise, it can’t be beat, the office staff has always been very helpful and patient, and maintenance is outstanding. I’ve been very lucky and have mostly quiet neighbors, but the complex itself Is also quiet and that is a huge plus for me. Overall, the grounds are kept clean and management does a great job ensuring it stays that way. The reserved parking is also a huge check in the win column for me! If you are looking for somewhere to live that is close to downtown but still has access to nature, I highly recommend Jackson Hill!

Cars get robbed here. Security cameras can be casually turned away for crime to be committed. Bugs everywhere. Elevators are always broken. Appliances outdated and broken. Leasing office will gaslight your every concern. Kari and the rest of the team have no sense of urgency to help. Save yourself your mental health, peace of mind and safety. Every month I have a new review to leave because I cannot believe the experience continues to get worse and worse. And no guys - it states in the lease its not their liability. I came back to leave one pro - the views are nice and the location is close to things. But management/security/maintenance ………

I had such high hopes for this property. For decades, it was touted as a great place to live and be that was well cared for. Unfortunately after Mr. Finger sold this property to Greystar, it has gone downhill. There’s lots of capital improvements needed to restore this place to its former glory. Desiree and the maintenance team are great, but Kari, Jacob, and corporate leave a lot to be desired. I lived here for 10 months, but ultimately, I had to leave due to roof leaks and fire hazards from water running across electrical lines. I gave the office 3 weeks to fix, and they acted like it was above them the entire time. To make matters worse, the contractors that they hire end up doing more damage than fixing things. Absolutely love this community! I just renewed my lease for another year and I am so glad I did. The leasing office has been nothing but helpful and professional. The maintenance team are so quick to fix any problems I have, but I haven’t had hardly any issues in my apartment. I love the accessibility to the trails, restaurants and grocery stores. Cannot recommend Jackson Hill enough!

I’ve had a great experience living at Jackson Hill. The community is quiet, well maintained, and in a really solid location that feels peaceful without being far from everything. The leasing team has been professional and easy to work with, and communication has always been clear and straightforward. Maintenance has been especially on point. Requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which makes a big difference day to day. Overall, it’s been one of the better apartment experiences I’ve had in Houston, and I’m happy to be renewing for another year.
