Jackson Apartments

Very poorly maintained public areas, there’s often garbage laying around in hallways and stairwells. Stairwells smell of cigarettes and or urine. You get charged by the day for package delivery, I didn’t pick up a package for five days and was charged $12. I was yelled at in the Amazon grocery store on the lower level of the apartment building by the apartment building security guard. I do not understand why this man was upset at me or why he yelled at me. I went to the leasing office to let them know what happened and they told me that he yelled at me because I made him feel unsafe as a black man and he needed to yell for help in the middle of the grocery store. After spending most of last year in a small and dark apartment, Jackson apartment is really the best. Now I wake up to mount rainier and the olympics with the sound view every morning. And the sunsets are great as well. They had good facilities, well equipped gym, pool and table tennis as well. Now they even opened an amazon fresh right below with many more stores yet to open. This has been a nice find and a great place to stay. Also, there lounge area is superb. It is not just well equipped but on the clear day has an awesome view.

I have lived at Jackson apartments less than a year. The staff has been extremely friendly and accommodating. Addison from the leasing office and John from maintenance team have gone above and beyond.

I've been living here for a 3 months now and I have no idea what are all negative reviews about. I've got some problems a few times with me unable to locate some info about the building- leasing office helped! About closed gym, I also would appreciate it open, but there is this thing happening, what it its name? COVID19!!! Complaining about closed gym is the same as complaining about masks - doesn't make any sense! When I signed the lease there was only one review here, even without photos. I took risk and won. I upset about people giving up their tour here because of reviews. It is a psychology- we don't write about positive, mostly negative. I am waiting to have more nice neighbors :) Rainier is hiding now. Will add its photo later to review.

I love living here. The apartments are comfy and the view from my apartment is magical when mt. Rainier is visible. I enjoy being close to downtown but far enough away from all the commotion. I haven’t ran into any major issues but Edward is always extremely helpful! He’s on top of everything and very knowledgeable when answer my questions and concerns. It’s employees like him that make an apartment building great. Highly recommend.
