Ivory Homes - Ivory Ridge Park Place Villas

Edit: We originally were very happy with our home and the building process. Over the last couple of years we have had some major settling and water piping due to poor grading and compaction done by Ivory/Hadco. The floor of our 3rd car garage sunk several inches. When we contacted Ivory and Hadco neither accepted responsibility even after rough grade photos were examined and it was determined that upon purchase, the rough grade was not adequate to divert and drain water. It’s unfortunate that such a large company that touts its quality isn’t willing to own up to their mistakes. We recently sold our town home (built by Ivory), and are currently in the process of building with Ivory. We were impressed with the quality of our first home and decided to build with them. Really poor quality stuff, shoddy tile work, the model home driveway was settling so bad a child could crawl under the garage door. Certain cabinets in the kitchen hit against the baseboards so they wouldn't open more than 45 degrees. Ivory has nice floorplans that I really like, I just can't get past the quality issues, sad that even their model home has serious, glaring issues.

Nice homes. Unusual way of selling them though. Seems more like buying an existing house.
