Island Properties does it Right! They are extremely professional and understanding. They have Maintenance issues handled same day or next day ALWAYS! The maintenance team is Super kind , knowledgeable , respectful and very quick. The office team is hands down amazing, they are so kind and respectful and they want to make your life as easy as possible. I would rent from them for the next 100 years. The properties are well kept and are owned by Island Properties so none of that annoying third parties waiting on approval nuisance. My home was beautifully remodeled with stunning kitchen at no extra charge to me before moving in. Island Properties is the best in Vancouver and I would recommend them 10/10 to Rent from. DO NOT rent from these people. Ever since Amanda and Austin took over management that complex has gone downhill quick. We finally got out of there. We were great tenets - always on time with rent and when we moved out we left the place in great condition (even with the incredibly cheap appliances, cabinets, etc.) They decided to be completely dishonest and say we left the place in horrible shape so they could keep our deposit. We did call to discuss "coming to an agreement" as they so politely suggest in the response to this review and she had a snarky remark to everything we had to say. (We have multiple witnesses to this call and the condition we left the unit plus photo/ video evidence of the unit.) So disappointing.

Hello, I have lived in 2 different apartments at the Avenues since 2016. It has been absolutely a sheer joy. Amanda has always been awesome since day one. I appreciate you guys always. During this pandemic probably has been hard for most. But my apartment managers have gone above and beyond with ways to manage paying rent, late fees and so forth during these hard times. Just finished up a year here at Island View. The management was spectacular! Even despite a few hiccups here and there when we moved in, our time here was awesome. Despite the Covid reality we caught ourselves in, being right there on the River made all the difference. Totally had a wonderful experience, wish we could have stayed for another year. One thing I would like to say about apartment living is that having neighbors who do things that we "don't like" is just part of the territory when you sign up for this type of living. So many places I've lived especially in apartments, but this by far was the best experience despite any of the negatives...or what I've seen others post about this property.

We have lived here for five years now, and love the openness of the apartment, and being close to everything!! Each apartment can park two vehicles on the property, and this is great, except for some apts. abuse this and have three, or four, parked in here, like this past Holiday!! My family has to park on the street when they visit, and this is OK, but not when my roommate has to park on the street when their are no spots, because of the abusers.who have all the "visitor" spots.
