Inspire Colton Apartments (Echo Park)

I’ve been reporting a homeless person living inside the building to the manager since when I moved here back in November 2024. Nothing has been done. Today I was attached by that homeless guy after he stuck my car with a piece of metal that damaged my brand new car. Also don’t fall for the Environmental Building discourse: they won’t let you rent/ use the EV chargers - Carra promised to hand a waiting list and she never did and she doesn’t even reply your emails. By the way that was the ONLY reason I moved here, so I would be able to charge my vehicle and not really on a very expensive public chargers. Carra the manager, keeps saying there is a waiting list that she never provided for me or to anybody else to sign. In Portuguese we have a name for that. The fire alarm is ALWAYS ON sinc

Overall the building is nice but management is horrible. Fire alarm is constantly going off in the lobby and reaching out to property manager, Carra, proved to be useless. There are homeless people living in the covered areas outside the building and lots of trash often left by them. The amenities seem great on paper but in person they amount to nothing. Kombucha on tap was never filled, rooftop speaker didn't work, keyless entry system often malfunctioned, and the building was oftentimes dirty. We also had issues with getting security deposit on time, and getting the CORRECT amount back. Make sure to check your lease if you sign one, but I seriously advise against it.

Lived here for 3 years. It's a good location and has great views. The quality of the apartment itself is fine. They call it "luxury" but it's just basic new apartment stuff. They have a nice but small gym. You will have packages stolen. You will have your car broken into in the secure garage. If you keep a bike in the secure areas, it will be stolen. Management will gaslight and be non-responsive to concerns. My apartment flooded twice due to water pooling in an adjacent apartment. When I told management it was happening a second time and what I thought the problem was, they told me it couldn't be that and didn't check until the next day. The cause was exactly what I said it was. For a while they were AirBnBing vacant apartments. The apartment across from mine was squatted in by folks

Toured this beautiful apartment with a friend who is moving to the area. They are spacious and have gas stoves… big plus for my cooking friend! The location is prime and we met with the manager Carra and she was a joy! My friend isn’t looking to move for a few more months but I know when she does… this will be the place she’ll call home!!! 😊

Don't fall for the parking space with EV charger talk. I moved here almost one year ago and Carra promised a waiting list for the parking space with the EV charger. 9 months goes by, she hasn't rented the EV spots to anybody else and she refuses to reply my emails about the parking space waiting list, which at this point I doesn't think it exists. Misleading/ mismanagement business in the heart of Echo Park.
