Indiana Property Group

This group is awful. We gave notice of our intent to leave at the end of our lease 2 months ago and have not received a phone call or email acknowledging that fact. They are very prompt to remind you to pay them money...but you have to fight for everything else. If I could leave a negative star review I would.

Update 1-15-25 WEEKS LATER Still no toilets and no response. UPDATE 1-4-25 DAY 11!! OF NO WORKING TOILETS! Day 3 of no working toilets…. I’d love to share more but HOPEFULLY THIS REVIEW WILL GET ME SOME MAINTENANCE SERVICE. The owner reads the reviews immediately so I’m certain you’ll read this. I would like working bathrooms. Your company is inhumane. If you rent from this disaster joke of a company..no offense but if you see these reviews and you still rent from here, you deserve it.. because you’ll regret it. No threat just a guarantee. You’ll hate it.

I’m not one to leave reviews ever but this place was too bad not to. My fiancé, roommate, and I had a horrible renting experience here. There were problems from the beginning. When we toured the property, we noticed large trash on the back patio such as multiple grills and large fences. We asked if these would be removed by the time we moved in, and were told that they’d be gone by our move in date, and they were not. In fact, WE had to put the grills on the curb to be picked up by a garbage truck, and the fences were not removed until months into our lease. The property was not move in ready at all when we moved in. It was obvious they had not cleaned the place in between our tour and our move in date. I am usually not the type to put reviews on anything, but I think this situation was necessary. The property we rented from Indiana Property Group was built in less than 30 days, which our neighbors told us. VERY CHEAPLY MADE HOMES. The appliances looked like they weren't cleaned out from the previous owners. There were marks on the walls and floors. We spent 10 days cleaning the property, scrubbing walls, painting, replacing blinds, mopped twice, cleaned and swept garage (which we never got a garage door key to.) To add to this review, our back door wasn't able to lock for over 3 weeks without anyone coming to look at door to fix, which was fixed so poorly. My sister n law was 9 months pregnant and needed to move her belonging to her place for the baby, and we asked them out of one month

I'm not sure what everyone else is saying. We rented with these guys for a year, and although nobody's perfect we were okay with the service we received. With a little nudging, maintenance orders were always completed within 2-3 days at no charge to us. Yes, they can be a little hard to get a hold of sometimes, but give them two or three back-to-back phone calls and they respond pretty quick. Our kids thrashed the place, especially the walls and carpet, but we still got $300 back on our deposit (we didn't expect to get any back). Compared to some other landlords, these guys are just fine.
