Independence Title Clear Lake

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Sarah Robertson at Independence Title Clear Lake . We had an outstanding experience ! We have had unpleasant dealings with other title companies but we were extremely impressed from start to finish today. The friendliness in which we were greeted, as well as, the efficiency of the closing were top notch !! We would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you, Sarah for a smooth transaction.

We closed here today and had a fantastic experience with Wendy. She was thorough, fun, and very nice. We had a tough process on the selling end of our house but, we felt so at ease on the buying side this morning with Wendy. The office smelt great, had great snacks, was very comfortable. Kim was so nice and took pictures of us. She kept checking on us through out the process to make sure my husband, our realtor, and I were comfortable. Thank you independence title!

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Wendy Garcia. This company provided zero guidance and had almost no communication throughout the entire process. The handling of my file was careless and unprofessional. Because of their incompetence and failure to provide even basic direction, I am now being told I owe back taxes going back three years—an issue that very likely could have been avoided with proper guidance. This is a costly mess that should never have happened. I see why they have many 1 star reviews! I would strongly discourage anyone from using this title company. Save yourself the stress, time, and money and go elsewhere.

The worst experience!!! Poor and rude communication is an absolute understatement with the ladies that work here. What should have been an exciting and happy time was filled with overwhelming stress and anxiety. Had clear to close from all parties on 18th, title company only with pressure from everyone closed on 26. It was the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience working with this office. Do not use them!

Let me count the ways as to how badly this title company is… First off, misspellings of names. Pretty important detail when dealing with real estate. From there it was HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION, AWFUL customer service, and lack of professionalism. As a buyer, closing was a horrible experience. From the moment we walked in, we were not greeted. The lady who finally addressed us was rude and rushed us into a room and said the closer would be with us. TWENTY MINUTES after our appointment time I finally walked out of the room to ask what the hold up was and I was met with attitude and annoyance. We finally signed and in all the emotions and overwhelming feelings, we forgot about certain things. But honestly it was something that we should not have had to ask about.
