Independence Property Management LLC

Used to live at one of their properties in Dayton. Their maintenance guy Kyle fixed a wall,did a half decent job.But he kept telling me how great the company is and how they pay for all his tools and materials. Well I was shopping on Facebook marketplace and he happened to pop up,selling all these tools he bragged about. Just thought it seemed kinda strange myself, hope this information is useful.

I was house hunting and have had zero communication about well anything, I have read the reviews left by the previous tenants and im disgusted on what I have seen and IF they replied to any reviews they are blaming the victim , I have been a residential and commercial property manager for almost 10 years in Cincinnati and Dayton, their behavior is unacceptable residents please know you have rights landlords MUST abide by them or face civil/criminal action, yes also criminal, I worked for an owner a property management company who was charged with crimes for the disrepair/neglect of his properties he managed and the city of Cincinnati charged him and sentenced to jail. Hello, so i treid contacting with the independence property management because I liked a home and I I saw the house inside and thought to apply but Ive got a lot of questions I started calling these people two days back , I texted , I emailed , I messaged , I mean if we cant get contact with them how would we call if we have issues with houses . So I suggest for a better communication .thank you

this is the absolute worst company i have ever rented from. if you are thinking about signing a lease with them, please do not. run. from day one it was a nightmare. the communication is basically nonexistent. they are slow, unresponsive, rude, and completely unhelpful every time you reach out. it is very clear they do not care about their tenants at all. the house itself was disgusting when we moved in. the outside was trashed. the floors were caving in. the deck was dangerously rotted. the garage roof was falling apart. a tree was growing out of the house. shingles were falling off. there was graffiti and egg stains all over the garage. there was a poptart stuck to the window. none of the lightbulbs worked. a cabinet broke immediately and the sink was leaking. absolutely nothing was cl

So far they are really slow on replying back and need to work better on getting back with there tenants they need to have a department where they only work on dealing with there tenants because it should not take a week to get one text from them and need to have a app setup so you dont have to drive 40 mins to there office just to drop off your rent
