I rented in the hand trading apartment building, my pluming was non operational upon moving in, and for the next month following. My AC also went out leaving my 1yr old and I on the 3rd floor in 80 degree internal heat. At least once a month I would have to get a hotel room because of power outages throughout the building. In the end I had to move out & take an eviction to my record for the safety of my child.
These people are slum lords. My aunt lives at The Villas of Friendly Heights and is disabled. She has to walk to the other side of the building because they refuse to get the elevator closest to her repaired for several months. She has lived there for years and it has never been this bad. Apparently there is a new manager. My aunt asked her when the elevator would be fixed and her response was “I don’t know.” Do better.
