It has been over 30 days, and I have not received my security deposit. I moved out on 1/12/2026, cleaned the unit and left it in perfect condition and even provided a forwarding address to Tara. I have called the office countless times and sent emails but have had no luck. I even called the previous management company Avenue5 and was told that the apartment is responsible for giving me back my deposit not them. This is very disheartening since I lived at the icon for a year was never late on rent and didn't create any problems as a tenant and to be treated like this is completely wrong.

June 26, 2025 - The office does not respond to emails, work orders get repeatedly closed by mistake before being filled, and property management continuously makes promises and gives timelines that do not happen. I have dealt with a broken window and pest infestation for two months now and have had to fight tooth and nail for answers that never come. I was told on May 23rd (almost a month in to the incident and a week after one of many unanswered requests to the property manager for help) that I would hear back in a day or two. When I called four days later because there hadn’t been any follow up, I was told the manager was gone and would be back in a week and would get back to me. Me and my family came to Tara to look for a place to call home. We have had a year and finally getting back on our feet. Tara was probably one of the most welcoming humans I've met in a long time and she answered any and every question we had with the utmost patience and my kids just love her! She has helped us so much and we are so grateful! Probably the fastest application and approval process and within seconds we were Approved! And now we officially move in Tuesday and oh man I am so excited!!! Honestly without Tara I don't know where we'd be but thank you for being you and I cannot wait to move in. I met with Tara to tour the apartments. I am new to the area and not only did she give a wonderful tour, even though she was very busy and alone in the office, she had information about the area. Her smile never wandered and she is very knowledgable. I will be renting there when my lease is up. Thank you, Tara.
