Icon at Ross Apartments

I’ve written hundreds of reviews and shared thousands of photos on Google Maps, but I’ve never felt so strongly about leaving a review as I do now. If this helps even one person avoid the experience I had, it will be worth it. I moved to Dallas from Chicago on a tight schedule. My leasing agent was wonderful and really helped make the move easier — she was the one bright spot. Unfortunately, she no longer works here. This community is extremely poorly managed and feels unsafe. The overall quality has gone downhill, and the management company (Simpson) seems to have abandoned proper oversight. Packages often go missing, and vehicle break-ins are common — I’ve seen broken car glass on the garage floor multiple times. Some residents have even reported stolen cars. Electricity bills are susp

I have lived here going on a year now, and was considering even staying for an extra year in a larger apartment, however, I am absolutely FED UP! I have had to put in my 3rd work order in over 2 months for my HVAC unit because the cooling feature is not working properly. Someone will come in, pretend like they do something for an hour, it will work for a week and then AGAIN it stops working. This has resulted me into having to run my AC 24/7 with over a $300 light bill for a 700 Sqft apartment. It then takes them at least 3 days to even get to the work order because they are answering them in "sense of urgency" -- Interestingly enough I have a ring camera and have seem them change neighbors air filters before addressing a unit that isn't even working??? Will not be resigning-- do not move

We moved to Icon At Ross November of 2025. The few maintenance request we had were taken care of within 24 hours. Zach, Alex, Flor, Romero and Javier are the team and do a Fantastic Job! The office staff with our new Manager Melina , Assistant Manager Bri, and Desiree and Eduardo are all very patient and listen to you. They have to be as much as I talk! :) Things are moving along smoothly to correct issues left from whomever in the past that did not work on keeping things looking and working as they should. We understand a Corporation like Simpson Properties is a business and has to make money. Spending a little to make things work properly is a must. Hopefully the rent will not go up ! LOL. Eduardo was one of the best leasing agents I’ve ever worked with. He was super personable knowledgeable and knew all the small details about everything he even gave me a tape measure to make sure that my bed would fit in the room 😂. You could tell that he truly enjoys his job. He did such an amazing job that I applied while on tour.

I am extremely disappointed with the management and maintenance at Icon at Ross Apartments. The garage door has been broken for months, forcing all residents to use a single exit. This has created a dangerous situation, and my vehicle was recently hit inside the garage as a result. The issues started right from the beginning. Shortly upon moving in, I discovered that my AC unit was broken. When maintenance finally addressed the problem, they entered my apartment for hours, making a ton of noise while I was trying to work from home. It was incredibly disruptive. The mail room and trash chute are absolutely filthy, with no signs of regular cleaning. The hallways smell awful because dogs pee everywhere, and the outside areas are littered with dog poop and swarmed with flies and trash. To m
