Hunting Ridge Apartments

My wife and I lived here for two years. The apartments and grounds are in good condition and well kept. The office staff was incredibly helpful when we needed something from them. Maintenance handled issues quickly for us. If we hadn't moved to Durham, we'd still be happily living here. Best place we've lived at.

The only reason I give this place 2 stars is because the people at the front office try their best to help us out but we have been having problems here for a few months now after we moved in but this is becoming problem after problem at this apartment complex. From the unit air/heat working on and off, to bug problems which includes bugs coming inside because it raining to roaches throughout the unit now that it’s cold. Which it’s gotten to the point where we are seeing multiple every other day which includes the morning time which are signs of infestation. To having washer problems which I have reported numerous times such as the washer leaking, to the pipe that flows water into the washer leaking onto the bathroom, hall and even kitchen floor. My Husband and I have lived at Hunting Ridge Apartments for 15 years (2010-2025). They keep the property very nice. The maintenance staff is very thorough and fixes any problems you may have with professionalism and promptness! The Management Staff are very Courteous, and listens to any issues that may arise with professionalism and kindness! We would recommend anyone to move to Hunting Ridge Apartments! It's a wonderful place to live! We're Not Moving!

Maintenance was excellent as well; they could handle almost anything, and repairs were always completed quickly and efficiently. Pros: Location: Close to everything. Great schools and strong communities are less than a mile away. Neighborhood: If you want a place where people mind their own business but will lend a helping hand when needed, this is a great choice. Amenities: The pool is refreshing and always fun, and the gym has everything you need. Cons: The apartments are older, but honestly the upkeep is better than some of the newer complexes nearby. We lived at Hunting Ridge Apartments for six years and absolutely loved it! I highly recommend this place. This community truly felt like home. It is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. It offers great amenities like a pool, a playground, and a pet park. It’s in a great location, close to shopping, with access to good schools. There is also a bus stop nearby, making public transportation easily accessible. We had three bedrooms with a den, so you can consider it a four-bedroom apartment. It was very well maintained and renovated during our stay, which made it even better. Wes, the manager, was always nice, respectful, and communicated clearly for our benefit.
