Horizon Homes of the Grand Strand

This was the third custom home we have built, so we know the process and how it should work. Of our three builders, one was good, one was a superstar and one we would not use again, nor ever recommend to others. Had we know when we hired Horizon Homes what we know now, for many reasons, we would not have hired him to build this house. Of course everyone is different. Each individual has their own expectation for customer service and quality. In 2012 I moved to SC in order to convert an 800sqft barn into an art studio. Horizon Homes was recommended. The barn's interior was in rough shape, there was a leak in the roof, and it needed new windows and a door, as well as a temperature controlled environment to keep my supplies from getting too hot. Chris was professional and reassuring as we came up with a plan. The work began without delay, and the workmen showed up when they were supposed and they were very skilled. Chris came to check on the progress at regular and appropriate times. The studio turned out beautiful and perfect with no details left unfinished. I have been enjoying working there now for 9 years without incident. I would definitely recommend Horizon, and would certainly hire them for any future projects I may decide
