Roaches are all over place doesn’t matter where you go and live in ABQ. This places gets it more because of the large gaps in the units. The apartment management from rhino is really good about answering back to you when a service request is needed. If you have an issue with the apartment, you’re renting they’re really good about responding back and getting on top of what is needed. For the crime it just depends on how many people choose to live here and how people live their lives and we do live by Central so that makes sense that so many homeless people travel through the streets in our complex. It really just depends on if you’re the kind of person that has drama in your life or the person that doesn’t have drama in your life then you won’t have any problems in your unit living here .

At this complex you will receive a unit that isn't sealed which leads to cockroaches and smoke from neighbors. Trash and litter all over the place from neighbors, dents in your car from neighbors, loud music and screaming past 10pm from neighbors, increased rent after a year from rhino, poor upkeep maybe once a month from rhino, poor maintenance repairs from rhino that wastes your time with ai questions first before they'll send someone, a dirty laundry room with dead roaches and hair all over, cigarettes and dog poop left all over the complex from neighbors (Rhino never restocks the poop bags fast enough), the sliding gates are weak constantly break and take forever for Rhino to fix, there is no security and homeless pass through all the time and sleep in the hallways and dig through the

I lived here from late 2018 to early 2021. Rent was extremely cheap, only $450 at the time for my studio. That’s the only thing that kept me there so long. I had cockroaches, bed bugs, even a mouse at one point. My neighbor when I told her about the mouse didn’t seem surprised at all and in fact told me where they like to get in in her own apartment. I also had maintenance tell me that the person who was living behind me wasn’t able to take care of his place for health reasons and that’s where all the cockroaches were coming from. They were HORRIBLE in my place so I can’t imagine his. Laundry room had weird hours and only open certain days. I found needles in the parking lot a couple times. The 2 stars is for the apartment, not the management company. They were responsive and helped make it right. As for the apartment, it looked nice at first with new appliances, but when I got the keys, it was apparent that there was a roach infestation, & that they just bug bombed it before I went in. There were dead cockroaches EVERYWHERE. I thought "okay. Well. That means I won't see more." Nope. I cleaned for two weeks & saw so many roaches & everything- I mean everything- was covered in roach feces- the drawers, cabinets, sides of the cabinets- everything. I viewed the apartment before, but who looks in the very back corners & drawers of everything? The last straw was when there were roaches & feces falling from the hood above the stove every day. I even tried cleaning that, but it kept

WORST PROPERTY TO DEAL WITH. This location as the worst roach infestation and as thorough as I have cleaned, there are still roaches being spotted mainly in the kitchen areas. Complained and asked for pest control, they then sent me a notice as a warning being the roach is my fault?!!!! Would not rent with them as getting ahold of anyone in that company is a headache.
