Homestead Title Agency

Same complaint as the previous company. Deborah and associates have complicitly clouded title of a property we are Purchasing. A company canceled their agreement with a homeowner, however Homestead has left the file open and not given a notice of settlement discharge , effectively clouding title. They've done this for the same prior buyer. Completely illegal behavior. Just incase they comment and say wrong title company, heres photo proof. Cannot close on a property until they give a discharge notice, for which they already have a signed termination from the previous buyer. Homeowner called them to provide it yet they wont do it.

Title company refuses to close out a title file even though they have received a signed mutually agreed termination from the previous buyer and seller. Homeowner in pre foreclosure and they cant sell because this title company has their filed pulled with another company they commonly do business with. Disgusting behavior should lose their license. The previous buyers have no reason to keep title pulled since they signed a termination cancelling their previous purchase agreement and the title company, aware of this, wont close out their file.

My company and I work exclusively with this title company for all of our real estate transactions. I can't say it enough about how great this title agency is to work with. Deborah, the owner, is one of the most knowledgeable title agents in Southern New Jersey. The entire staff is friendly and always willing to help.

The worst possible experience. Anything they can do wrong they did. They called me asking what time I will be in the office when I signed the contract the day before. I was like don't you need to tell me when we are closing?! Two weeks later i called them for an update and they said we aren't ready so I said did you tell the seller because he is calling me. They said I am not your secretary you call the seller. How am I supposed to know when we are closing?! They sent me a label that they already used so I had everything notarized and shipped and had to drive two hours to redo everything. No apology or anything. Terrible, terrible. We closed a week ago but they didn't even let me know that we are closed. I didn't dare call them and just called the seller asking if he got the wire. Not sure

By far the best title agency i've ever used! Very friendly, understanding and down to earth!
