Hollis 7601

Review: I am beyond frustrated with the way HOLIS 7601 handles parking and towing. My car was towed even though I was parked in a clearly marked visitor spot. To make matters worse, there were cars parked on both sides of me in the same visitor area, yet mine was the only vehicle singled out and towed. This feels completely unfair, inconsistent, and downright wrong. As a visitor, I should feel confident that if I follow the rules and park in visitor parking, my car will be safe. Instead, HOLIS 7601 allowed my vehicle to be towed for no valid reason, creating unnecessary stress, financial loss, and inconvenience. The fact that other cars were left untouched shows how inconsistent and careless the enforcement is here. This kind of treatment says a lot about the way management at HOLIS 7601

I’ve lived at this complex since May, and my experience has been extremely stressful due to ongoing pest infestations, unresponsive management, and unprofessional staff. My apartment was not move-in ready. Several appliances didn’t work, I wasn’t given a proper walkthrough, and I was simply handed the keys and pointed to my unit. My mailbox also didn’t work for the first three months, and I had to contact USPS myself to get it fixed. There was zero urgency from the office. Also, I was overcharged on my rent for the last eight months despite my constant complaints and questions regarding this issue. One major issue is false expectations during tours. MAA was the absolute best however the new management company with the exception of Demitrius and Gino has been nothing but disappointment. Nicole, Patrice and Jeffrey are just a few of property managers in the last year. Yes the turnover for property managers and lack of diligence is awful. I had been living at this location for 3 years before moving out because I closed on a house. The lack of communication, garbage issues, cars being egged, towing issues, flooding from a cut pipe in my master bathroom that also included the 2nd bathroom as well, have done nothing positive for the community. I had my car towed from this apartment complex even though I was well within my right to be parked overnight in the guest parking. All this over a small typo of an "O" instead of a "0." Now I'm having to pay $320 to get it released to me.

Demetrius A. Byrd Is absolutely amazing! He was wonderful in every aspect from first meeting to moving in. He was very respectful and professional with myself and my wife. He is very responsive to calls and emails. He also addressed any questions or concerns we had as quickly as possible.
