I would highly recommend Scott for any home inspection. His report is extremely thorough and presented in a manner that is easy to digest for further action. He is honest, forthright, and trustworthy. Scott showed up on time, and conducted his inspection a very professional manner while leaving no stone unturned. He is objective in his findings, and fair to both buyer and seller. I always thought home inspections were only done when buying or selling a house. Our house is almost twenty years old, and my husband and I knew there were things that needed to be fixed and replaced, but we had no idea where to start. I mentioned this to a friend, and she suggested getting a home inspection. That's exactly what we did, thank goodness. Scott from Hindsight Home Inspection was prompt, personable, and very thorough. He gave us a detailed report and suggested to us the items we should tackle first in order to maintain the integrity of our home.

Hindsight's inspection of a home for me saved me a tremendous headache. It turned out the house had polybutylene plumbing, a leaky roof, old mechanical systems, and a substantial amount of rotted wood. Scott's report captured all of these problems quickly, efficiently and clearly with photos. He climbed all over and through the house to get all the information possible to help me make the best possible decision. I cannot recommend him enough.

Don't let this happen to you. This home inspector cost us tens of thousand of dollars by missing a myriad of problems that would have caused long term health issues and cost a great deal to remediate. Large amounts of mold/debris/glass/metal parts in ventilation supply and return vents, rust/water leaks around vents and ceiling lights (yes, leaks around electrical), home addition not supported by dedicated ventilation, etc. Our untrained eyes noticed the problems, but after due diligence when we couldn't renegotiate or walk away without losing a ton of money. A third party professional we brought in said the problems missed were "unreal". Additionally, we found incorrect manufacture dates of key systems in his report - important facts being considered for an investment as large as a home
