The management is so horrible. Its like a prison camp, they act like your child can not play on the playground, and you can not even backup in a park there. The management Love to stir up trouble. She has several relatives of hers, living on property to be her eyes causes she is never in the office.. Also Management used Hope program to embezzle money for their own personal gain. More money was put on the hope application for rental price for tenants then they normally paid. Example tenant pay $500 a month management put down they paid $700. When hope program ran out of money. They still said the tenants owned money even tho hope paid extra. Where did the extra money go? Only for management to still threaten elderly to be evicted.

I Have Mixed Emotions About The Hilma Green Apartments ! When I Moved In I Was Told No Downstairs Apartments Were Available Only To Find Out After My Mover Both Apartments Below Me Were Empty ! In February 2019 I-Was Told IHave COPD My Doctors Requested A Downstairs Unit On My Behalf .! NO ACTION Was Taken At That Time. When I Inquired I Was Told I Was Accidentally Given The Wrong Fax Number . Finally After Months Of Needless Prolong Suffering . I Was Given A Downstair Unit Uncleaned Stove Dirty Carpet Filthy Not Cleaned At All I Cut My Foot My First Day In On Broken Glass In Carpet ! I Accepted The Apartment Because I Couldn’t Keep Doing Stairs . Now I Have A Lung Bacteria Infection( Maybe From Dirty Carpet) ! I Have Photos And Medical Records To Back My Claims ! Management Should Be

Beautiful apartments on the outside , horrible on the inside. Management puts tenants in apartments without making sure inspection is up to par. When asked to fix anything they procrastinate until it’s a major problem. Management and maintenance are horrible when it comes to solving issues. I don’t not recommend moving here at all.

In October 2018 A Friend Of Mine Moved Into Hilma Green Apartments Tarboro, They Are Lovely Apts. My Friend Is A Clean Very Efficient Home Màker who Passed All Inspection, So Please Explainer To Me Why Her Deposit Was Taken Plus $268 Sounds Personal To Me .Poor Management Goddess Complex !

I’ve lived here since they came in 2017 and I haven’t had any major complaints. This is a very nice and quiet place. If I had to complain it would be if you have a neighbor above you, just pray they don’t have heavy feet. 😊
