Hillsborough Village Senior Apartments

Over the Christmas holiday, the manager, Sally, made the decision to lock the clubhouse, which houses the mailroom. This created a serious problem for senior residents who rely on access to their mail, including prescription medications. What happened: • Wednesday (Christmas Eve): The primary building access doors were locked. Because the mailroom is located inside the clubhouse, the regular mail carrier was unable to access it and reported the access issue to her supervisor. Some senior residents were expecting prescription medications that required refrigeration and were scheduled for delivery that day. • Thursday (Christmas Day): The clubhouse remained locked, and residents could not access the mailroom located inside. • Friday: The clubhouse remained locked. • Saturday: The usual acce

This management company has zero morals or compassion for seniors. They nickel and dime them, post threatening notices and nothing can be done because all roads leads to the manager in the leasing office if you try to contact corporate. It’s a dictatorship. My mom lives there and she accidentally left her keys inside her apartment during business hours. They told her it was $50 to have her door unlocked. Really? That manager could have gotten up from her throne and unlocked her door! It’s not like it was after-hours and her locks needed to be changed, which I could totally understand but charging to unlock a door is insane. That should not even be in a lease. This manager here is relentless. Now notices are being handed out threatening to tow cars since there’s construction and not enough parking for tenants. I guess amongst other things they’re now also in the business of towing tenants cars and not giving courtesy phone calls or knocking on the door for people to move the car. Hardly anyone here trusts her and many of us think she’s in the business of making all our lives harder. So far we seem to be right. Update 9/5: All parking spaces have been sealed off making it harder for everyone to find parking. I wish they had of planned this better.

I'm a very new residents and was seeking senior living with specific amenities after moving from a senior community. The office staff are very professional. Rosalie is attentive, took her time in showing me various apartments, answering my questions, and addressing my concerns. A real kindhearted women with sincerity about her job. Sally you were the icing on confirming my yes to move to Hillsborough Village. Your warmness to welcome me made me feel Welcomed. The atmosphere has been a positive experience.
