No stars. Me and my husband moved there stayed for one year. Upon moving in they changed our apartment to a lower model then we put our deposit on we put a deposit on the upgraded apartment. The apartment we had to put bge and rental insurance on before we could move in no problem but now it is because it’s on someone else’s apartment and not mine! So yeah I’ll go through the headache for your inability to do your job. when we got there and they gave us the keys turned out they didn’t go to ours, they went to one across the parking lot the rental agent told me “oh I had someone who said that one would be a better fit for them”. My name is Lindsay Sharps. My husband, Dominic Shaw and I had a move in date for 10/10/2025 for a 3 BR apartment. Simone decided to switch that to a 2BR upon or before arrival. I was not pleased with this decision. We were not able to move forward with the agreement and I was supposed to be issued a refund on 10/10/2025 when Ms. Yolanda printed out my receipt and also stated we would not be moving forward with the process. On 9/17/2025 I paid a fee of $250 and $1049 on 10/10/25. Still no refund. I have been patient and still respectful. There are no dumpsters so trash is just thrown on the corners at night the rats are big as cats the rat holes look like a human body could fit in So it's been yrs since first post only thing different is they placed a few trashcans ..but it's still dirty

I lived at Highland Village from 1996 to 2011. I hardly had any issues with rodents and parking. If i got a rodent, it was once every 5 years seem like. My last year there, i caught 16 mice in 1 year. i hated the waterbug issue - they are gross and end up any and everywhere. I didn't have many roach problems but I would see them here and there. I ended up buying my own home. I am sadden to hear such awful things going on. Was going to refer a few friends there, but refuse to accept the charge of sending someone to a place that went downhill.

Definition of “Slum Lords” I have lived here for 6 months and absolutely hate it. It’s a dirty community, the house is run down, and maintenance doesn’t even show up when you call. It took two months to get my air conditioning fixed. I have had mold in my living room for months and nobody has come to look at it. My ceiling leaks and again nobody has even come to look at it. To make all this even worse no matter how clean your house is it will be mouse and roach infested. I have been calling about an exterminator since I moved in and yet again nobody has yet to come. Please save your money and move somewhere else. This might as well be the projects.
