Highland Terrace Communities

I like this place. It's very close to the UTK campus. It has been a quiet and cozy place, the staff has been very nice. I haven't noticed much noise. The appliances work well. Maintenance is a bit slow, but it's a good place.

I am living in one of the apartments on the top floor. At first many said that the apartments are not good and I am not sure for them may be it was related to their specific apartments. For me, it was a really good experience, with nice view, lively neighborhood and fast maintenance whenever needed. If someone is looking for a lively place where you get to see students and people around, worth it to be living here. The only thing which I felt needs improvement is the laundry.

The highlight of this place is it's location. Very close to campus and therefore very convenient. There is also a Corner market for essentials. Apartments are decent. Maintainence can be faster but they do attend to requests and fix things. Peacefulneighbourhood with not much noise. Common area can be kept cleaner but current condition is acceptable. They have onsite Laundry and a pool.

Rented a place for my son. He had a single unit. The place was always too hot or too cold. The window AC could never keep up. It is a common problem with these units. They also sent us a very nasty email 2 days after we moved out. The place was in great shape but they will take your deposit regardless. The email said they will ruin our credit if we didn't return the parking pass. We never even received one but they didn't care. I paid it and moved on. The management is nasty. Choose one of the big buildings on the strip for your child. It cost more but you won't have to deal with old time apartment issues.

Their maintenance team is amazing. I've put in multiple request and they've taken care of it within a day. Steven H. thank you for hooking me up with the fan and adjusting it so it didnt keep making that noise. Big shoutout to Kenny as well. He makes the grounds outside my apartment look perfect everyday and I say him to him every morning. Solid team overall
