My fiancé has lived at Highland Park for many years and this place has been great! Sadly, we're moving because of his job. Kenda has been the best. She's been so helpful and friendly from the beginning. Super gal!! She listens and has always followed up whenever we had any issues. The couple that does events have been the loveliest people and put on such wonderful events for the tenants. Cutest couple ever! Maintenance has always been great and completed maintenance requests in a timely manner. Thanks Highland Park! Hands down the best place in FW to live. Great people, great location and so quiet too!!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I lived here for a few years and it was an awful experience. I dealt with mice for over 6 months. The property manager told me that “mice are nature and that she didn’t know how to keep them out and that I should get a cat. They are only in your kitchen and that’s what you risk when you live on the first floor.” It wasn’t until I threatened to sue that anything happened. I then had a leak in the bathroom that the maintenance crew would come by and “check it out” but wouldn’t find anything. So I let it go for a few months. Then the water damage got so bad that mold was starting to grow. They came out and fixed the leak and promised that they would fix the water damage but that never happened. I lived with mold and rotting wood for months before I fi

Parking is the worst. There is a section of this community that requires assigned parking. Stay away from this area. They have some tenants parked right next to their homes and others parked really far. When you call the office to request a closer spot, you are told there is nothing that can be done. Towing is not enforced so if someone is parked in your designated parking spot then you get to walk even further. When they assign your parking spot be sure to check it out before signing a lease. It's dangerous at night to have to be so far from your building.

After moving in, but before the paperwork for adding myself to a friend's lease was done, I slipped down the stairs and broke my arm cause they're very narrow, fairly steep, and carpeted as well. Asked for a rail, which I've come to find some residents DO have seemingly because of how dangerous the stairs are, and 6 months later we still don't have one. Not sure why they aren't just there, but that's my main issue is how dangerous the stairs are. People always slip and fall I just got unlucky. My next complaint you'd think would be a good thing, but my experience with it wasn't. They have little resident event type things often. As of the day of this posting, I went to my first one, a flower party, wherein they were supposed to be handing out smoothies and giving people potted flowers. Wh

Moved in last last month. I see there are mixed reviews on the apartments. The only complaints I have are for the annoying bumps through the community and a small sugar ant issue (which was resolved with a few ant bates). I am an avid cyclist and choose the location due to the proximity of the Trinity River. Per the apartment, it is a bit dated and cabinets could use some TLC, but outside of that it is wonderful. I particularly enjoy the Florida Room on the larger of the one bedroom apartments, I don't care so much for the outside area which made this apartment perfect (they take the space which would have been outside and add it to the overall floor space). I had the movers comment make a comment on how spacious it is. The apartment is certainly not the cheapest, but not the most expens
