Cory Munson (sales representative) and Matthew LeMond (construction manager) were the best. Cory made us feel comfortable from the moment we met him. My wife wanted a new home, but I didn't. In his ever friendly manner, he professionally explained the features of a Highland Home. He didn't try to sell us on Highland Home; instead, he pointed out the features of Highland Homes, which were many. Cory could joke with us and be serious with us -- which we appreciated. After we decided to purchase (without any pressure whatsoever from Cory), he was there at every step -- and every email. I had recently signed a contract to purchase a home with Highland Homes in Broken Oak division in Georgetown Texas, but unfortunately, I had to back out of the contract due to family issues in California. Highland Homes, and staff at Broken Oak were extremely helpful throughout the purchasing process along with the development stages of my home purchase. Buyer beware when shopping for a house in this neighborhood their sales tactics are very aggressive, and misleading. Our final decision on buying a home was clearly communicated that it was contingent on financing. We were told the lot we were looking at had other interested parties so we put a down payment to hold it while we worked through the numbers, we didn't want to lose the lot because options in this neighborhood are limited. A few days later we received details on financing and didn't feel comfortable with the numbers so we decided to wait on our purchase to get things in better shape from our side and communicated this to Highland Homes.
