High Range Village

I have lived in Las Cruces for 18+ years and I would strongly advise AGAINST renting at High Range Village Apartments. The quality of the units is subpar, outdated, and their billing practices are extremely frustrating. We were charged for fixing faulty countertops made of cheap materials, which caused issues with our skin, clothes, and plates sticking to them. To add insult to injury, they also charged us a carpet cleaning fee despite leaving the carpet spotless. Nowhere in the lease does it state that a professional cleaning is required when moving out. They also have a trash valet service that’s incredibly picky. We were charged an extra $20/month for this service, but we opted not to use it, and yet, we were still charged. Threatens to sends back packages but makes it impossible for anyone with a 9-5 to actually pick it up without taking time off. Consider the price of an alternate delivery location as part of rent. Edit: Management incompetently or maliciously auto enrolled me(and probably others) in default renters insurance despite already having valid insurance on file.

I’ve been living at High Range Village Apartments for several months now, and I can honestly say it’s been a fantastic experience. From day one, the management team has been welcoming, responsive, and genuinely invested in keeping the community clean, safe, and enjoyable. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, and well-maintained. I love the thoughtful layout and how much natural light comes in during the day. The appliances are up-to-date, and everything was spotless when I moved in. Maintenance is incredibly fast and professional whenever I've had a minor request. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and hiking trails — a perfect blend of comfort and accessibility. I lived here for a year. Everywhere I go I tell everyone what a fun place this was to live. Managers and maintenance dude Jerry were awesome!!! I have wonderful memories of the friends I made and the parties Connie and Sonia put on. Also since manager Connie loved my cat so much, I have left it to her in my will. (She hated my cat). If you move here, expect to play by the rules. They are extremely fair, but firm in enforcing policy.

I lived here in 2019/2020, and I loved it. Sonia and Connie were so pleasant, and the maintenance staff was always quick to fix the few issues that we had. There’s a pool and hot tub, beautiful flowers out front, the laundry room was clean, and every unit has a balcony/porch. I really enjoyed my living experience at High Range.
