Hickory Grove Apartments

I had a WONDERFUL experience at Hickory Grove. Sold my home before I bought another and they were kind enough to do a 6 month lease. My apartment was clean, never had issues with pest. The staff was wonderful. I was quite impressed at how quiet the apartment complex was. I felt safe. My neighbor were all friendly. I highly recommend Hickory Grove.

These are great second chance apartments. I've read the other reviews and I have not experienced what they have. If you can afford the apartments that cost $1400+ and you like to complain about everything just go over there. Not every apartment is for everyone. And the problems that were commonly listed were the same problems people experienced at my last apartments in broken arrow. Crown village at Elm ridge. That place was terrible. A bunch of lying office staff and management that will charge you for suspicion. But this review is not about Crown Village. Hickory Grove. We have literally had no issues with the office. With maintence. Or anything to do with the apartments themselves. Any issues we have are minor and get resolved fast. I've had a few late payments and I was never heckled

Very 👎. Wouldn't give back our $300 deposit. We are not kids, did not smoke, nor make lots of noise. Their building is really drafty, and the windows don't have adequate screens, and they are all limed up so you can't see through them. We had water overflow from the bathtub above us and buckets off water running through our apartment. They partially fixed it. Sheet rock was still not done months later when we moved out. The window seals were not any good. The apartmeent was so drafty, it made our electric bill really high from having the HVAC running to keep it comfortable. There was black mold in the bathroom and cold air coming in all around the tub where there was no caulking. 1i1 could go on and on about why not to rent these apartments!

Beware (buckle up for a quick story) 1.) the influx of 5 star reviews are all “fake”. They did a large event a couple months ago where tenants could win a new TV if they left a 5 star review for the apartment. 2.) my roommate and I have lived here since October and have had way too many problems. We are breaking our lease in a couple days. They damaged our unit (cut a large 1 foot by 1 foot hole in the wall) and didn’t fix it for over a month. A hornet came through the hole and stung my roommate while he was asleep. There’s a handful of other small things, but the newest and biggest problem I faced is that they recently painted the unit next to ours and told my roommate they redid countertops. The fumes smell was TERRIBLE. I mean health code hazard bad. It started feeling like it was g
