Hibernia Apartments

I've lived in Hibernia for 4 yrs moved in during Covid so I never got to see my apartment besides videos b4 signing the lease I was offered a smaller space bc the apartment I originally wanted wasn't ready I accepted but there was so many things that needed repaired 70% of those things still need repaired Besides the maintenance issues I love the style model of my apartment I just wish they kept up with the apartments better The rent is to high to have some of the property issues that I have Parking is horrible they have a contract with a tow truck company who tows residents cars all night long while there's no where to park I've been on a waiting list for a garage since I moved in Half of the complex owns dogs big dogs that are to much for the small apartment Take away the flaws I love th

I live there for 2 years and had a list of things they were supposed to fix after I moved in. It took them a year to get me a new dishwasher, and after two years, they still had not replace the doors. Some trim and doors were painted white and some still brown. The parking around 5560 was horrible! They need 1 numbered spot per apartment.

Our building has been without a second dumpster for months now, every day I have to pick trash out of our front yard. On top of that our apartment has flooded over 10 times last year, (still living with a waterpomp outside and waiting for Birge and Held to spend money on the engineers that have come by more than I can count) we keep getting mold in our bedroom. Instead of replacing the moisture sucked drywall and windows they decided to paint over it & kit the windows.. it’s not working since this is the 3th time the mold has grown back and the windows still condensate on a daily basis. Instead of coming with proper solutions the property just raises your rent and calls it a day. Property is going downhill make one round and everywhere you walk you will see city code violations from defect

I lived at Hibernia for a year, and it was my worst apartment living experience in Columbus, ever. The property knowingly concealed a major issue with neighbors hoarding animals until after I signed my lease and /then/ maintenance made me aware after I complained several times about the rotting smell coming through the AC and heater vents. They did nothing to help me. It got to the point of me begging to move units and they continued to refuse. I got sick repeatedly but I could not break my lease because I knew they would sue me. Did anything and everything to rid the smell. The apartment was so disgusting that by the time I was finally able to leave at my lease end I had to get rid of all of my furniture because the smell had gotten into my fabrics. I advise you not to let anyone come here; these apartment owners have no respect. This morning they towed my husband's company bus. It's been over two weeks since my kitchen floor was damaged by the dishwasher, and they never came to fix it.
