Heron Lake

Update: I had to change my 5 stars to 1 star. I moved out of Heron lakes after 13 months. The management changed twice in the 13 months I lived there. I never understood my rent, different amount every month and different explanation every-time. My rent was supposed to be $ 1425/ month. The extra charges will bump it up to $1700ish and it was not specified on the lease.The Pool opened only once in 13 months( it’s more like for a decor than for residents use). They never clean or sweep the staircase. It’s full of spider webs and dust. It doesn’t worth the money, honestly. I had what I would called “a VIP tour” with Anthony. I toured the property on yesterday with Anthony. WHAT AN AMAZING TOUR! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the property. He made me feel like this was my home already and offered many helpful tips. I was not familiar with Heron Lake and decided to take a tour after searching for other places on line. Heron Lake is definitely on the top of my list thanks to Anthony. GREAT JOB SIR!

I’m extremely disappointed in the way Heron Lake Apartments treats its residents, especially during difficult times. This complex has shown a complete lack of professionalism and empathy toward tenants, particularly military and federal employees who are currently affected by the government shutdown. Rather than offering support or understanding, management decided to send out notices moving up the eviction filing date for late rent. This decision is not only inconsiderate but feels like an intentional move to take advantage of residents who are already struggling. Many of whom are essential federal workers still reporting to duty every day without pay. It’s unacceptable for a property management team to disregard the circumstances of the very people who help keep the country running. Ma

Beautiful place and wonderful staff. The apartment I viewed was modern and had a nice layout. Unfortunately things didn’t work out and I am yet to receive my refundable holding fee. I was told it took two weeks and here we are a whole month later. They say they will call yet I am the one making all the calls with empty assurance that it will be there soon and I will get a follow up call. As mentioned, empty promises because I am still waiting.

I had an amazing time on the tour with Mr.Anthony!! He was extremely funny while giving us all the vital information. The community was very well kept and the landscaping was beautiful! I really enjoyed it and this is my #1 pick!
