Heritage Cove

1 star because it’s close to my work place. Heritage Cove Lake Apartments this place is so miserable and depressing, after a long shift of work and getting home I have to drive around and look for parking spot, there is no parking for the residents that live here they can not even assign one parking to one apartment it is soooo bad it’s awful they do not care about their residents and now they have started towing their resident’s cars knowing damn well there is no parking for certain areas. Have to park on the side of a curve or by a handicap parking so ridiculous there is NO DAMN PARKING!!!! My car was towed early Thursday morning paid $428.00 to get my car. Friday night a car was parked in the same spot and the going tell me ohh we put a hold on the towing. Well guess what “ WHATS GOOD

I’ve been living at Heritage Cove for a while now, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. While the community has potential, the curb appeal is seriously lacking. The trees desperately need trimming, yet despite having maintenance staff, it appears that they haven’t made any real effort to address this issue. You'd expect that with the rent we pay, they would hire professionals for such tasks. Additionally, the pools are rarely operational, which is disappointing for residents looking to enjoy that amenity. On top of that, the sprinklers have been out of service for what seems like ages. Overall, I believe there’s a significant lack of management and upkeep here. It’s frustrating to see these ongoing issues without any apparent resolution.

I am very happy with Heritage Cove Apartments, the staff is very friendly, maintenance is quick to respond , I have made many friends here. It is why when I was moving back from Connecticut I chose to move here again! A very friendly place to live.

**updated review** I initially left a very nasty review due to being frustrated with issues with my AC, however, it has since been resolved. I love this apartment. I love the location. I love the amenities. Me and my children feel safe here. Maintenance does respond in a timely manner to your requests. They do things throughout the month like donuts, ice cream, food trucks, etc. and I feel that it makes them unique compared to other apartment complexes. I also love that when I went to sign my lease, it was not a huge increase compared to other apartment complexes, which I appreciate. I plan to live here until I buy my home.

Don’t do it!! Look elsewhere to live if you value your family’s health! Black mold is a problem here! We complained several times about the ventilation in the unit and they never did anything to actually address it. Poor ventilation breeds mold. The apartment was constantly humid 70+% humidity and they don’t care. We’d buy fruit and it would mold up in a day. Smells coming from the AC vents that they didn’t address. The air conditioners on almost all of the units are 20+ years old and they refuse to replace them. The electric bill was sky high because of all of these ventilation issues. It’s magical how when we moved into a new place we stopped having all of the health issues we were having at heritage cove. Parking is a nightmare and they even admit it. They refuse to tow cars that are p
