I moved into one of the apartment complexes managed by Heritage in 2014. My property manager, at the time, was Robin. She was great if there were any issues with the apartment. She retired and then the company went consistently downhill after that. Their website quit working, so you couldn't file a maintenance request on-line. Tenants had to call the office to report a problem. The managers, after Robin, went from bad to worse. One property manager tried to charge me a late fee on my rent because she was too stupid to understand their own bookkeeping system. I lived there for 10 years and NOT ONCE did I ever pay my rent after the first of each month. I had to pull copies of the checks and go to their office to show that idiot I always paid my rent on the first. Usually, I signed a one year

I wouldn't recommend Heritage to my worst enemy. They'll be nice to you, and tell you that you don't have to clean your carpet, and then charge you to clean your carpet when you move out. I told them when first put the deposit down that I wanted all of the lights replaced, and that was never done. The dish washer didn't work either and I told them that I wanted it fixed when I moved in, and again, that was never done. They're pretty rude as well, and don't take any time to listen. It is way too over priced. It's a nice neighborhood, but still, that doesn't make up for what a joke Heritage really is. I'm so happy to rent from this management company. I rented multiple units in the Oakview location, and not only is Sharon (the property manager) AMAZING, so is the maintenance crew. My neighbors were always good people and the building/parking lots were always clean and upkept. They price their units extremely fair as well.

I'll start by saying when your viewing a rental with this company MAKE SURE YOU ASK IF ALL APPLIANCES STAY. When we viewed our rental it had all new black appliances (including a front load washer and dryer) It wasn't until move in day when we came inside and saw that they had replaced every single appliance with an older version. The washer they replaced it with was broke and won't drain. Every time we have called for something fixed they just tell us that they have a 'work order out' and no one will never come or return our calls. They will let weeks go by without even contacting you back about your issue. Even if it is an emergency (furnace issue in the winter) we had to track down the actual owner to help us in every issue we have had in this house. (Still have yet to hear back about c

Do NOT rent from this company! Horrible all the way around. Allow drug use and blocking others garages. Does not uphold cleanliness of property. Complete nightmare unless you want to live in a ghetto environment. They offer to return deposit and break lease instead of getting rid of problem tenants. If you like to smoke crack, not watch your kids and have section 8 this is the place for you!
