We lived at Shayler Glen for 5 years. Erica and her team have always been nice and accommodating. Maintenance always responded to issues and would stay in communication with us. They also always called us before entering and were kind and respectful of our belongings. The property was clean and well taken care of and we felt safe. We had a great view of the farm across Shayler from our 3rd floor unit. The gas fireplace was awesome and the balcony was large. The only complaints we had were raccoons and cats around the dumpsters so we avoid those after dark. the dumpster is usually overflowing by the end of the week, It would be awesome if they put in some recycling bins to help with that. Also would be nice if there was some guest parking on the other side of the property instead of it most

I live at Long Acres. I have now for 6 years and some change. They are great at assisting when you’ve got emergency maintenance issues. I was even leant a space heater when the baseboards went out in the dead of winter and the maintenance crew couldn’t fix it at 1:30am. They went above and beyond, and have on several occasions. They are constantly improving the property with landscapers, and road resurfacing. The apartments are old (I believe they were built in the late 60’s), and there is only so much you can do with older construction. The buildings make a lot of noise at night, predictably the wood settles and the highway is right out the window, but you get used to it extraordinarily fast. So much so that when you go on vacation not hearing the traffic from the highway seems alien. In

I don't recommend using them for apartment living. The office personnel are rude and talk down to you when talking to them about situations regarding things that need to be fix. They don't handle tenant to tenant conflict well at all. They don't follow pet policy allowing people to have pets but not making them properly clean up for them. They don't keep up with Maintenance in the buildings. They will raise your rent every year even after they said the don't. They never really know what goes on in their properties because they don't do regular checks. It seems like they will let anyone live in there properties. They constantly have a revolving door concept of tenants.

Honored their wishes and policies involving ending my lease as I was tired of getting sick from the mold I found in my unit which they refused to fix. After moving I was served with papers claiming I caused the damage.. The damage was caused from my upstairs neighbor's tub leaking, which they also refused to fix. Avoid at all costs!!!

I have family that live at Long Acers.This place is old and not keeped up at all. Maintenance is a joke there kitchen sink leaks, there tub leaks, there carpet is coming apart. They have called and called with no avail. This whole place should be gutted and redone for what they pay.
