Heavenly Village Condos

We had to cancel our reservation due to the unexpected passing. Despite explaining the situation and will to provide documentation, the property management company (Tim) refused to issue a full refund because we hadn’t purchased travel insurance. While we understand policies exist for a reason, their complete lack of compassion and unwillingness to work with us during a family tragedy was extremely disappointing. Good customer service is about more than just following rules — it’s about showing empathy and understanding when life takes unexpected turns. We will not be booking with this company again and hope they reconsider how they treat guests in similar circumstances.

One of the most spacious rooms ever... we received a two-room space with a connecting door! One room for parents with a queen bed and very big bathroom (including a shower and a bathtub). Second room with multiple sofa beds for the kids. The best thing about this hotel is the kitchen which includes everything from a large fridge, over, micro, toaster etc. TV in each room, good Wifi around. ||The pool was very nice, not too crowded because they do not allow too many people to enter. It's very organized with a waiting list. Whenever we came we were allowed to enter. The car parking is vallet parking only, also very organized. ||The location of the hotel in the village is amazing, plenty of restaurants and activities. Overall we've had a great experience!

It was a terrible experience, starting with the discomfort of the rooms – old and dirty. The price was extremely high and it didn’t include housekeeping. They didn’t even leave a bottle of water in the room. I feel scammed. The only good thing is the location. I don’t understand how Marriott allows its name to be associated with such a poor-quality hotel. I’m giving two stars for the service only because the front desk staff was at least friendly. The Hotel doesn’t offer any real service

Fantastic hotel resort in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. We had a full sized kitchen, rooms were spacious and very clean. Another plus is free laundry machine use was a bonus. Perfect location! Beautiful pool! Highly recommend and would stay here again for sure! Plus, nightly rates super affordable. Great value for your money!
