As many other people have shared- STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. My husband and I purchased a new build almost 6 years ago and we have had nothing but problems since the moment we moved in. The straw that broke the camels back was the “subfloor” that was installed under our kitchen island. We had a supply line burst since the builders thought it was a smart idea to try and tuck the supply line to the refrigerator behind the cabinets. We currently have our entire kitchen ripped up (floor, cabinets, appliances moved around) and our garage ceiling ripped out due to the severe water damage caused by the supply line burst. Even though the situation was not ideal it revealed something extremely troubling. Heatherland homes hired workers who put down thin plywood for a “subfloor” un

We also have had a terrible experience with our Heatherland Home. At first we had termites, and mind you we had a termite bond from Pestban, who was the most unprofessional company to deal with. In the last few months we have had several water leaks, that we had to pay thousands to repair. Do yourself a favor! Don't purchase a Heatherland Home!

I recommend buying your new home elsewhere. Our last new construction was less money and the builder was better. From Heatherland Homes, we got a ton of stress and build quality way below what we saw in the model home. Some things they said they would fix during the first walk though. They didn't. Then they said during the final walk through they would fix these things. There's a lot left (but they have fixed some issues like installing some missing electrical outlets, fixing a gas leak, correcting the garage door that wouldn't open). If you have to buy from Heatherland Homes, I suggest having a lawyer on retainer, and a contractor ready to work on your house. You might also expect to have tons of DIY projects because your new home may need a lot of work. Even if you're not a DIY pro, yo

Buyer Beware: Avoid Heatherland Homes at All Costs I cannot stress this enough—do not purchase a home from Heatherland Homes. What should have been a dream, new construction home has turned into an absolute nightmare, costing me thousands of dollars out of pocket to correct serious construction issues that never should have existed in a new build. Let’s start with the defective piping. Our home is less than 5 years old and I have spent over $5,000 in plumbing repairs due to pinhole leaks in the improperly installed Uponor piping. Given the numerous leaks resulting in drywall and flooring damage, I reached out to the pipe manufacturer (Uponor) to submit a claim and upon investigation, Heatherland did not follow the manufacturer guidelines when sizing the piping for our home. Now I'm stuck

I’m so disappointed with Heatherland homes. They do not live up to their builder’s warranty policy! Throughout our 1st year in the home, we reported issues on the portal as they told us to do. We were told that we would have a 12 months walk through to make sure the reported issues were resolved. Well that NEVER happened!!!! Minor issues were resolved, but when it came to the complex issues, they failed to correct them. The issues were reported in a timely manner, yet we were told that they will not repair anything because the 12 months warranty expired EVEN THOUGH THE ISSUES WERE REPORTED BEFORE 12 months. They even lied and said they came out and repaired one of the issues. I work from home and NO ONE came out on the day they reported. We’ve called and emailed the builder and have yet t
