Haven Lake Highlands Apartments

I lived here for a year so let me save your time : All 4 of my car tires were stolen, black mold everywhere (I was sick the entire time I lived here), my CAT was sick the entire time I lived here, management does not respond to phone calls or emails, broken gates, zero security surveillance (the cameras are fake otherwise I’d have access to the footage of my tires being stolen where a camera was directly above my car), apartment entry doors frequently left wide open for anyone to walk in, broken elevators, extraordinarily loud vents randomly installed for ‘air flow’, extraordinarily high electricity bill due to old appliances, zero sound proofing between you and the upstairs neighbor. The only pro - maintenance is great. You’re welcome.

Visited this property and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful place. Upscale amenities with lots of options. I was greeted by Nicole who was eager to provide information and tour. She was Amazing! I ask lots of questions and she was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

MOLD. MOLD. MOLD. AND MORE MOLD. It’s everywhere — 3rd floor, 2nd floor, 4th floor, 1st floor lobby — everywhere. My boyfriend, 20 years old with no prior health issues, lived here for about 7 months and out of nowhere had two grand mal seizures. The only thing that could possibly relate is the fact that we were living in an apartment with “the bad kind” of mold (direct words from the mold remediators). The only reason we even started investigating further — besides noticing black vents — was that neighbors had been dealing with severe mold issues, so we started piecing things together. When we told maintenance about the vents, they said they would just get a new filter, which of course never happened. Garage gate is ALWAYS broken!!! Cars get broken into. I called to report the car break and the person the other line couldn’t care less. Make sure that you ask about the elevators (always broken), garage gate(always broken. Hallways are so dirty and reeks of dog pee and dog 💩. They’ll turn off the water randomly at 7am-9am, with a 30min notice and then it’s too bad you needed a shower before work. They’ll overcharge you and instead of refunding the over charge, they credit you for the following month. The fee to end your lease early is 2 months worth. Please reconsider as you’re looking for your new place. I think the new property manager is trying their best but it’s simply not enough. Maintenance team is great and prompt.

The staff goes above and beyond—they’re friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel valued and heard. 10/10, I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a place that really feels like home.
