Haven at Uptown

Extremely poor communication and stressful management experience. I was contacted by management about switching to a different parking spot designated for disability access and agreed to the change. Before I was given the new garage opener, I had a medical emergency that required an ER visit and then ongoing treatment. Despite this, management reassigned the parking spot I pay for without giving me access to the new one. I was also stood up for a scheduled meeting to exchange keys, and follow-up communication was inconsistent. This situation caused unnecessary stress during a serious health issue and could have been avoided with basic coordination and consideration. I’ve lived here now about 8 or 9 months and it’s fine. When I first moved in it seemed like a lot of older couples and millennials were living here and now it seems like it’s becoming more college/university students and UNL student athletes- so if that's not your thing maybe steer clear. The gym bros are the worst and have been told to stop and won’t stop slamming weights even after management sent out reminders and put up signage. That may seem like a very small thing to write about, but my roommate and I have both, on numerous occasions, jumped out of our skin while in the gym because they were being so loud and rough with the weights. It has been a great apartment! Clean and organized main lobby and hallways. The apartment itself was clean when I moved in! The appliances are great, new and work well!! Maintenance is great, quickly fixing or helping with any issues that come up! Would highly suggest moving here. The location is perfect in Lincoln!

Just a little mix up with the garage assignment but it didn’t take anything from the whole move-in experience. Bethany was super helpful and addressed my concerns in an efficient and timely manner ❤️
