Hartford at Anchor Point

I've been here since 2021. Was i happy at the time yes but today is 2026, 5 years later. The leasing office will ignore complaints that anyone makes from roaches to leaks. They claim renovation but I've seen the maintenance paint over black mold and call it good. With a few months left I can't wait to put this place in the rear view and never look back. Plus rent went from 850 to 1125. This place is not worth that price. Save your money, time, and mentality.

I moved there in 84 when it was called Randolph apartments then it changed to Riverwalk apartments I moved away in 2005. Basically grew up their. I know it's not safe or unsanitary but it was my home and I have a lot of good memories some good and bad. Was gone for a minute I came back and didn't even recognize it. It changed the name again and noticed that it was gates everywhere. Definitely not the place I remember. I can't say anything good or bad. Because it was home and all I knew.

This apartment complex has a severe bed bugs issues that management is refusing to address. Units has been infested, and despite notifying the rental office, no one has come to inspect or treat the problems. This has been going on for far too long. Charging over $1,000 a month in rent while ignoring a health hazard like this is unacceptable. Bed bugs are not just a nuisance they pose serious health risks and can spread rapidly to other units. The lack of urgency from management shows a complete disregard for tenants well being. If this issue isn’t resolved immediately, it may be time to report the situation to the local health department or explore legal options through tenant rights advocacy groups. I ignored all the negative reviews because normally people only take the time to say bad things instead of good. I did a tour on one of their apartments, and for the price.. it was a good place. Before applying they made it seem as if it was almost a guarantee to be approved. Little to no credit minimum needed, was told I would be good to go as long as I met their income restriction (which I did) We applied and was told it would take 72 hours. After 90 hours I called and was told I would get a call within a few hours. Never got a call. Called the next day and was told I would get a call at 1 PM. Never got a call. I have been here almost five years and these places are infested with cockroaches, mice and rats. I spend over $20 a month just on roach spray. They don't require tenants to be sprayed for roaches so it's a never ending cycle with the bugs just running from apartment to apartment. Every time they make any improvements (even though they were GIVEN a grant to fix them) they raise the rent $100 (When I moved here it was $600 now they're going to $1000). There is never parking after 6 p.m. Kids have NO WHERE to play but the parking lots. There is no pool or playground. Any complaints (like a kid here who openly steals packages) we're told to call the police. The police are here about this kid a couple times a week but nothing is ever done. Make sure you carry full coverage car insuranc
