Harper House Apartments

My partner and I are in the middle of our 3rd 12mo lease with Harper House. We really have nothing but good things to say about the team in the leasing office and the maintenance staff. The Harper House/Kimberly Court/Flatiron View group of properties feels like a small family. Everyone I've encountered in my last couple years here have been respectful and kind. The location is great and prices are reasonable for Boulder. Huge shout out to the office and maintenance staff of Harper House! My one piece of constructive criticism here is simultaneously a warning to new residents: Packages are frequently stolen from the mail room. I wish there were a practical way to get USPS mail behind the locked lobby doors. However, many times either residents or staff with move the packages into a safe

My family and I moved into Harper House apartments about a year ago and we really enjoy it here. It's a quiet building with respectful neighbors. The management company is really awesome... one of the best management teams I've dealt with. Since we've been here they've added the little libraries by each building they manage, updated the bbq area near the Kimberly Court pool, and added garden beds that are on a lottery for tenants who are interested. They do a great job of creating community and are super responsive.

If you live far from the laundry it's not a bad place. I lived here for a year on the 3rd floor, and in the cold months I could here a strange sound that I never could figure out. Then I moved back in years later onto the 1st floor, right next to the laundry. It soon became clear the water heater was VERY loud. Day after day after day in the cold months. Strangely it would sometimes turn off on Saturday or Sunday, when it ran solid all week long. They claim they do not shut off the water heater for showing apartments, but the first time I noticed that a showing was taking place at the same time the furnace was not running, that is the impression I got - that they were intentionally turning it off to hide the noise.
