This management company is absolutely terrible. They do NOTHING, cannot communicate, and have ZERO accountability. A tenant broke a window at my house, and they told me they would fix it. 9 months later, I found out they had collected the insurance money and NOT fixed the window. The new tenant was living there with a tarp over the window!!! So, I cancelled my contract with them after this new tenant moved out. Come to find out, they did not conduct a proper move out walk through because the tenant had left food in the freezer and when I came to the house a few months later MAGGOTS were everywhere. If you want to stay in well maintained homes, without insect problems, that also have good customer service to assist when problems arise, do NOT rent through Harbour Rentals. After our experience with Cattail Cottage and Harbour Rental’s staff and management, we will never be booking them again. Arriving at Cattail Cottage this year, everything seemed to be okay except that the only actual couch in the house in the back room is stained. We did not mind this much because we were not visiting Chincoteague to sit on the couch. One day, after getting back from dinner and hanging out in town, we arrived back to see that the house had become infested with hundreds of ants.
