Hansberry Square of Legends South

This place is horrible; management is horrible. My ceiling has been leaking for 3 days, yes, 3 days. The office has been closed since yesterday for inspection. I just happened to see someone walk past yesterday. He came and saw the leak, went to the 2nd floor, said nothing is leaking up there, changed the light bulb, and left. I woke up and it's still leaking. I've called the office, I got no answer, called the emergency hotline and left a message twice. Still waiting for a call back. I went to the office, only to see a letter on the door saying they're closed today for inspection. I'm literally just sitting here listening to water leak in my bathroom waiting for a response. I have never experienced such unprofessional management ever. I'm currently looking for an apartment. I have worker

Horrible management no real maintenance units haven’t been updated for years and they’ve been sayin no money in the budget since the Pandemic . We’ve had 3 different property managers. No one to keep property clean and no more security presence ! This is an organization for market rent low subsidy and hud so why is there not eneough money to keep our communities up and looking presentable. We should be doing and looking better but it’s only getting worse . And tenanats are just here beggin and waiting for our units to be maintained . Thank you to the janitors that’s trying I wish that they would pay you all more than. $17 a hour ! And then maybe they can get some good maintenance people that want to stay ! I believe this is due to bad management from the upper on down . This is a business

Was forced to Move out of my apartment in 2017 & I been living since 2010 someone busted my windows out and the Manager that was there Linda told me she was gonna make sure I don't get a place in Chicago ever again. I didn't get my security deposit back and she also put a $3900 dollar bill on my credit report.

This place is everything. the receptionist was very nice, the manager , maintenance workers was always there. I’ll recommend anybody to live there. Their houses are nice and well kept. They are very friendly ppl and they treat you with respect. I loved this place.
