Bought in 2021. Have had to pay EVERY year since then for roof shingle repair.....Have had a 2 roof vent casings leak( replaced for $400) . Then this year '25 $800 just this week for more shingles. This is UNACCEPTABLE . Clearly used cheap shingles in a windy area. NOT SMART for a so called High End Contractor. Call us and all my neighbors and make this Right. Drive through Spencer Estates 3 an look at the roofs....... 12/17/25

As first time home-builders we didn't quite know where to start. We knew we wanted a 1/2 acre lot. When we found Spencer Estates in Pasco we knew we had to have lot 6. Not knowing how the whole process worked, Hailey (our Hammerstrom realtor) was able to secure our lot and we began our home-building experience. We met Dane soon after securing our lot. Dane is down-to-earth and easy to work with. He made our selection process so easy! We can 100% say we are happy with every single decision we made. As eager home builders we visited the site daily. The sites were well managed. We noticed a few things during construction that didn't align with our selections but we simply notified Dane or Steve (the project manager) and it was addressed immediately! Gerry Hammerstrom and his family are incredible. We had an amazing experience from start to finish, envied by so many who have sworn off the building process after their own experiences with other builders. The crews building the Hammerstrom homes are carefully selected and honest, trustworthy people with expertise in their respective fields. My family has enjoyed every moment in our new home and wouldn't have changed a thing. I'd highly recommend Gerry and the gang to anyone looking for a personal, enjoyable experience throughout the building process

We sold our home in the Puget Sound area and decided to move to Tri-Cities. We were very fortunate to have our real estate agent introduce us to Lisa Green who was representing Hammerstrom Construction. We toured the model home in the Spencer Estates development and were impressed with the floorpan designs, the flexibility in making changes to that design, and the quality of construction. We decided on the spot to have our forever home built in this area. The next step was to have several meetings with the contractor to develop the design. The meetings were with Dane Hammerstrom and Lisa Green who made certain that every detail we wanted was documented. Moved in in April of 2021. There are a lot of things that turned out really nice with the house but we have had constant issues with how they installed the roof. Less than 2 years in the house and I had to have the whole roof fully replaced. Hammerstrom kept trying to blame the shingle manufacturer and only wanted to continue to patch it. The houses directly surrounding me are also having the same issues.
