Building our house with Halen Homes has been easy and fun so far. (We are about halfway through, and we plan to write another review upon completion and after one year in our home). We wanted to build a home on a modest budget, and on a small lot with unique challenges. We searched many builders and almost gave up before finding Halen Homes. Jason took on the project with excitement and helped us develop a near-perfect plan, solving many challenges. Janeen guided us through the selections process masterfully, with patience and expertise , and Eric, our construction manager/Expeditor, is genuinely looking out for our best interest while coordinating and closely monitoring the sub-contractors. We were living out of state and wanted to move back home to Wisconsin. We started investigating and choosing our new home from out of state. We contacted Janeen, the new Home Specialist for Halen Homes at The Reserve at Parkway Ridge to begin the process. Janeen worked with us remotely and did a fantastic job of answering all our questions and helping us choose and model and site. I am living in Halen Home built in 2018. The home had 2 previous owners. I love living here and the home is beautiful BUT multiple issues are arising that have to do with the quality of installation. Siding, appliances, interior doors to name a few. I understand that new homes were going up at a frantic pace in 2018 but I seriously should not be dealing with these issues in a 4 year old home. If you build with Halen watch each and every phase of building.

We had already made the decision on buying a different home, we kept a previous appt with Paige (builder rep) because we didn’t want to be rude and cancel. Lucky for us we did, Paige sold us on not only Halen Homes but her professionalism and willingness to answer questions/take the time regarding the sister company, spoke volumes to the kind of people that represent Halen Homes.
