If it were possible to give negative stars, I would give -5. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. My family moved to NM 2 years ago and we spent close to 1 million dollars on 2 Hakes Brothers BRAND NEW homes. These homes are poorly constructed and the customer service is atrocious. Over and over we have to call for WARRANTY WORK. We get the run around constantly from our customer service warranty representative, Steven Contreras. He promises to get repair workers to our homes but we have to continue to call over and over again. The appliances that they charge an extreme premium for are ALL TRASH. Out of the 14 appliances between the 2 homes, over half have had to have service and 2 have already had to be replaced before they were 2 years old. Out of 14 brand new homes on our street, there isn't one
Run far away! They build cheap cookie cutter homes. Good luck getting them to correct the things that are falling apart in your new custom home.
