Management could do better in communicating timely and responding in general. I completed a walkthrough with the maintenance staff at Hacienda Commons Apartments in Pleasanton but this was supposed to be done by the leasing agent or property manager at 9:00 AM 12/31/25. No one called or emailed to let us know that no one was going to show up today. I called and left a message of which after Bonifacio and another co-worker did the walkthrough with us. We waited until 10:00AM to see Jackie but Bonifacio came to let us know to leave our apartment keys and permits with him and that Jackie would be in later. The communication here is exactly how communication has been since Woodmont took over the management of this property. The owner had much better employees when they managed it themselves.

Great staff and maintenance. Jackie is very professional and helpful. I am happy living here so far. Everything meets my needs around this location. Maintenance are exceptionally helpful. Bonnie and Gustavo are so helpful and do the work done right.. Thank you to the owners who hired these wonderful people.

Don’t ever live at this dump!!! Management yells at you when there’s mold and bugs in the house and BLAMES YOU! THEY PAINT OVER MOLD IN EVERY NEW UNIT! They give new units new windows (which help prevent mold since the ones they are newly installing are double-paned) and leave those of us who have been paying rent every month on time for years with the same garbage. If you have sensitivity to mold like we do (we are currently looking at legal remedies since they only blame us for every mold but look at the photo the family that moved out of the apartment with all their mold - holy smokes). Bugs everywhere. Pincher bugs, ants, tons of spiders, RATS, and wasps all over the pool because they’re too cheap to hire a beekeeper. Also VERY DANGEROUS area. I had an appointment scheduled for today at 11:30. When I arrived, the leasing office was closed. I waited for 30 minutes, but nobody showed up. I called and left messages, but the phone only goes to voicemail — nobody answers. I also sent messages with no response. This was a complete waste of my time and very. unprofessional. I strongly advise future tenants to think twice before considering these apartments — if you’re experiencing this level of neglect before even moving in, imagine how bad it could get once you live here. After half an hour, they finally opened the door and informed me that the one-bedroom unit I came to see wasn’t ready, and only two-bedroom units were available. Bingo! Why didn’t anyone call or email me about this in advance?

Just moved to Hacienda Commons a little over 3 months ago so far it has been an exceptional experience. Akayla went above and beyond she helped me pick the perfect location for my needs and even assisted me with my application. On move in day I met with Jackie and it was a breeze. Maintenance is also super helpful overall and my dog loves all the grass in the courtyard. Overall so far so good.
