Gulick Group

While Gulick group designs beautiful estate looking homes, they have other issues. The windows, especially with wood window frames. Wood will begin to rot after 6 or 7 years. You will notice especially when it rains. The most disappointing thing to me, is that they offered no advice , or suggestions on how to fix rotten wood. Customer service , who during building was so great and responsive said it is no longer their problem.now.This happened on all my windows, and I believe in the entire neighborhood. So I guess the lesson is once they sell you these beautiful homes, they are done with you and you are on your own. Disappointed in that , since I particularly searched for this builder to build my home. Just a warning, make sure they have changed material, or buy warranty on this as so

I highly recommend the Gulick Group to anyone who is in search of an amazing builder in Northern Virginia and who wants to build a customizable, beautiful home! From the start of the building process, we were so overwhelmed with how many builders there are in Northern Virginia. We met with quite a few before deciding to go with the Gulick Group, and looking back I am SO glad we did. From the second we walked into one of their model homes, we were absolutely stunned with the beauty and details of the house. Buyer beware!!!! The home we had Gulick construct is 4 years old and we have been experiencing a number of issues with our home since the day we moved in - during the 1 year warranty period we had a hard time having major issues addressed and rectified. Kristen was particularly difficult and rude to work with. Even after some of these larger issues were fixed we were left with the drywall and paint damage they left behind. Just passed the 1 year warranty period we noticed areas we had fixed during our “punch list” were just covered up. Cabinet gaps and flaws were touched up with filler or paint that didn’t last long but long enough to look good until the warranty expired. Our bathroom tile and grout was poorly done - another thing we had addressed, uneven tile, cracked tile, poorly cut lin
