Groves Apartments

This is my fourth year living in The Groves Apartments.The grounds are well maintained. The complex is extremely quiet. All the neighbors are super friendly and look out for each other. Being here for so many years I have had my share of maintenance issues. I cannot express enough how professional our property manager Isiah is. He is so personable and kind. He will literally walk to your apartment everyday to get your issues resolved. Throughout the day knowing he has so much to do you will see him walking the property smiling and assisting residents with all concerns. My daughter said to me yesterday..." Isiah really makes you wanna live here". He does! I'm so pleased with his work and willingness to help with every concern. The maintenance staff is incredible as well. Dwayne... although

DO NOT MOVE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!! The maintenance man is very creepy and will go into your apartment without informing you ! They will also tow your car even if you have a sticker and are parked where you should be. There are plenty of better options in Raleigh. They have a HORRIBLE gnat problem, in every single building! Not only that, the roaches are terrible no matter how cleans you are! If you move here you WILL REGRET IT! RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK! COMPLEX SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN COMPLETELY!

I have been here 8 years. I am very content as the current property manager Isiah is very personable and professional. He has gone above and beyond to check in and be sure I have any questions and concerns answered. When not in the office he walks the grounds and it is so nice to know he cares about keeping the complex in good order and he takes the effort to greet and know residents. The grounds are kept clean and tidy. It is calm. New maintance powerhouse Dwayne has done a remarkable job fixing some longstanding inherited maintance issues in short order. He is a gem. He is a skilled professional, and communicates clearly and with caring.

I did what I have never done before (kinda embarrassed to say) I moved here without knowing "exactly" what the inside looked like. I used to always get on my best friend about moving into places before touring them and here I go being a hypocrite SMH! I did Look at the pictures online but that's never enough so I drove out to the complex & although my unit was unavailable to view yet I walked into the building and saw what I was able to view. Might I add im so glad I took this leap of faith after the paperwork was done & I toured my unit I was SO PLEASED the 1 bedroom is VERY spacious & O MY FREAKING GOODNESS don't get me started on the screned in back porch😲can you say chill spot! I'm so glad I made the decision to move here. The neighbors are quite, & it's absolutely peacefully here Is

When I first moved into this complex I was impressed with the way the property manager Carol, handle things. maintenance was on point then things started to change the parking lot which had been really cared for trash being picked up that has stopped for the most part maintenance when entering your apt to do work would leave you information in the form of a flyer to let you know that work had been done and completed. how come I wish I'd an answer rent goes up every year no matter what the apartments are older and the walls are thin the bathroom looks like something out of a old hotel nothing to see here. the one bedroom is a decent size and the screen in porch is a plus if you don't live towards New Hope Rd the pluses are you're in the heart of everything walking distance for the most part
