I legitimately almost never post any google reviews, but the borderline-criminal conduct that this “company” gets away with, especially after reading all these other reviews, makes me sick. I wish more than anything that I had read through the warnings and red-flags shared by unlucky tenants thinking they were dealing with a management company that was, at minimum, competent. Nope. Not with GroupFox! Send in your proof of renters insurance weeks before your move-in? Too damn bad! We’re going to threaten you with penalties because “we never received it”. Fridge is broken and smells like a decomposing organism? Too damn bad! We’re going to let you deal with that with no fix for more than a month! Rain-fall goes through their roof and floods your living room? Ha! Here’s a bucket, good luck! A

Was shocked to see a good amount of bad reviews. Group fox has taken very good care of me & they definitely know how to hire some great employees. Axis apartments in Streeterville has been very Pleasant to live in and I can appreciate how they bring the community together as well. I Have been very happy living here & the Christmas card was a cherry on top for sure for me to write this - much love for group fox.

I would highly recommend anyone looking to rent at the Van der Rohe to look elsewhere, as the management at this building has proven time and time again to be unprofessional and lacking in common decency. Since moving into the building in April of 2023, my apartment has flooded on three occasions, most recently just last week. I have reached out to building management numerous times to see what can be done to prevent this problem from occurring again and Group Fox doesn't even have the decency to respond. My requests have gone completely ignored. They simply do not care about the plumbing issues that plague the building, or the potential mold problems that come with it. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Under no circumstances would you ever want to move into any of these properties. No only does this company NOT value its residents, it is made crystal clear in the way their “support” team talks to you. They are not liable for this, they are not liable for that. Even when our safety is put at risk they do not care. Random people are hanging around the building, the mail room is constantly full of resident’s amazon boxes someone decided to open and steal from. Not to mention the constant vehicle damage, and theft, you have to deal with. They only care about getting their rent on time, not the safety of their residents. Required a $450 admin fee and a $75 application fee. Said application non refundable never said admin fee was non refundable until after I paid. I applied paid, communication was terrible. Made up several excuses as to why I needed to have a co-signer when I submitted multiple paperwork verifying enough income and also recquired a form from employer to be filled out, (was not informed of this before paying them $500) my employer does not fill out forms but was able to verify I was going to be working there. I become frustrated and after reading the reviews this sounds pretty common for them so I felt I was being scammed.
