extremely unhelpful corporate staff. they advertise for you living and dont give the guests any semblance of choice to what happens their community

This is a review for the Griffis SoCo location in Austin, TX, although it might pertain to you if you have a temporary form of ID. I was told this was the parent company, so wanted to leave a review here as well, as I don't know if it is the location or the companies fault. The actual location was super nice and the people were great, but found out after paying the $260 non-refundable application fees that the identification system used to verify your identity does not accept temporary paper drivers license permits despite it being a valid form of identification. I am currently waiting for my actual card to arrive in the mail, but this is all I have at the moment. No where on the website or application does it state this. While I understand the need to verify someones ID, we wasted time

Griffis Belleview Station - Imagine paying $2000+ for a one-bedroom apartment. Almost 1/4 of that cost comes from the utilities here. When you bring this up to try to address the issue, you are met with the community manager, Ann, who is only argumentative. She laughs at your problems instead of trying to help you out and hangs up on you. Unfortunately, the good community manager, Marsha, no longer works at this building. My utilities never costed me that much before I lived there and have never costed me this much since. There was clearly a problem with the apartment. My apartment was outdated so it had an abundance of other problems, so I had both maintenance and a lot of external vendors come in. Getting a hold of Griffis Corporate is a nightmare. No one wants to answer your calls and no one wants to talk to you. Everything goes to voicemail and no one calls you back. No one will respond to your emails either. Griffis Residential Corporate office is just a bunch of people Gold Bricking and avoiding work.

I rarely do reviews - but felt the need to do so regarding my experience with Griffis Residential! The Property is pristine & the Staff here is awesome! I have nothing but positive comments to report. The Property Management & Service Associates are amazing! Recently I had a service request performed by Cheryl & Tom. They arrived on time & handled the request professionally & promptly! I want to thank them for doing such a great job. Very politely & efficiently! This is a ‘First class’ place to live - I love it here! This facility has exceeded my expectations! I give it an A+… Jeanne G.
