Greens at Hollymead

I was stationed in Fort Riley, KS for three years. The drive from Fort Riley, KS to Charlottesville, VA takes 18 hours. Alesia made the process smooth and easy and our apartment was ready when we arrived. When we arrived after a long trip she received us with a warm smile and excellent hospitality. Any issues we have gone through, she has found a way to fix them in a timely manner. We are so grateful to have her.

If I could give this company ZERO stars, I would. We started our lease in December of 2024 and our first unit flooded 4 times in the first 3 months. We were then told that our building has one main water line and due to us being on the bottom floor, if anyone caused a clog our unit would be the one that flooded. Each time it would flood through out Water Heater Drain that also did not have a drip pan (against code). After the 4th flooding they finally relocated us to a different unit after constantly trying to communicate with them and their hq, to no avail. Fast forward to new unit, come home one day and find out that Greens at Hollymead has shut off the electricity to our unit without any court order or written notice, despite charging us for electricity and us paying them for electricit

As a soon to be resident here, my experience with staff of the Greens At Hollymead has been pleasantly wonderful. They have been super helpful and very kind. I’m very excited to be apart of the community.

Our experience with the Greens at Hollymead was marred by a lack of communication, major maintenance issues (including water damage and mold), and frankly unethical behavior by management and the management company. First, pipe leaks and water damage were frequent problems in our building. Before we had moved into our apartment our unit had apparently (according to two neighbors) experienced a leak that caused the living room, kitchen, and main bedroom to take on water. Evidence of this event later surfaced as we had mold growing from the leftover water in the kitchen light (see attached pictures) and the walls adjacent to the water heater had to be torn apart because of mold that had developed within our first few months.
