If great lakes was not managing my property, I would sell it. The take care of all the tenant management task I don't have time nor interest to do. They are also fair and reasonable. I had prior property management company experiences that felt as if the company was trying take advantage of me consistently. I'd even consider buying more properties because they feel like a partner instead of a professional adversary.

This house that I am renting currently floods in the basement, apparently this rental company already knew about it and still rented it out. My basement has flooded twice now and the city and plumber both said it’s the owners fault, they won’t own up to at all. All my stuff is destroyed and damaged and everyone is blaming another, but yet I’m suffering, currently inhaling toxic sludge in my basement, with no response. These reviews are real. I’m not a fake person. I’m a human being being taking advantage of. Moisture is getting into my room and my light fell, they just brushed it off and they always send unlicensed ppl to fix stuff. They took advantage of this place knowing it floods because in 2022 in September there was mud in the basement and CLARENCE stated the problem was fixed well h

These people are slum lords. Getting someone to come in and do maintenance is like pulling teeth, most times they don’t even do maintenance. On top of that the maintenance that they do decide to do is done by unprofessional people and is always a temporary fix to the issue. Yet they still expect you to pay rent even though you are living in inhumane conditions. They are money hungry, unprofessional, and selfish heartless individuals running a scam to take advantage of hardworking people. I have been without heat since February 2021, have multiples giant holes in my ceiling that get worse overtime, even minor things like a leaking sink I can’t expect to be fixed. I haven’t had no issues or problems with Great Lakes Property Management at all, I love my home the neighborhood is quiet and no my walls wasn’t painted, but they will let you painted it yourself. I’ve been at my home almost a year. I had no issues no complications no problem with nothing. Letia is the best she is very good with communication. She moved me to my home. She walked me through the home and I asked her if I could paint the wall she said I can come. I love it. You were trustworthy, informative, and transparent throughout our partnership. I felt I was always in good hands. When I decided to upgrade to a new home I’m definitely staying with Great Lakes Property Management. Thank you!

This management company is just another brand of slum lords. Because I wrote a review speaking on one of the properties my son rented with my grandchildren they just disregarded all contact and complaints my son had on this property. Yes call BSEED they will fine these people who think it’s okay for people to live in these not up to code homes. They are taking advantage of people because they know you need a place to stay and will offer a deal but won’t fix or even resolve your complaints. Do not rent from these people. Do your research first
