My experience with Greater Eastern / Massanutten Resort has been nothing but stress and dishonesty. From the very beginning, I was misled. The sales rep and manager promised me there would be no credit check and that the in-house financing would not affect my credit at all—yet it did. Later, when I tried to cancel, I was told it was “impossible.” I even asked about settlement options to return the timeshare, and every single person I spoke with said no options existed. Now, over a year later, they suddenly present settlement offers that supposedly “never existed.” The company is never on the same page. The barclay place property towed my car with a one month expired tags, because they could. They raised rent to a level that would be considered price gouging on a dated & very basic apartment, and told me that it should be higher, because they could. They currently are leaving me with a apartment that is 85 degrees inside on a July weekend, on a Saturday, and said it’s not a maintenance emergency, because they could. They can and will do things that will leave you in *uncomfortable* situations, because they'll tell you they could. I hope you and all your employees get fat, bald, and broke great eastern.

This company does not take work order requests seriously and is very neglectful. I have had a problem with an animal in the ventilation/wall for almost two months and other than setting two rat traps have heard nothing and nothing has been done. I do not recommend renting anywhere managed by this company. It is a consistent fight to get anyone from maintenance to show up. You have to constantly call and email, for weeks on end, to even get a response. When you do get a response, it is usually half thought through and not helpful.
